It is with great sadness that we inform our members, players and friends of Wythenshawe Cricket Club, of the passing of our former groundsman, player, cricket president and junior chairman of many years, Brian Grundy.
We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Veronica, daughters Sandra, Sylvia, Sharon and Shirley and all his extended family.
Brian will always be remembered by all of us at Wythenshawe Cricket Club for his dedication, loyalty, friendship and his huge love of cricket here at Longley Lane, Northenden.
A true gentleman and friend, we will all miss him dearly.
